SEPTEMBER 15, 2013
It’s called “National Back to Church Sunday”, and it’s the day our church looks forward to having a full sanctuary for worship after the busyness and travel of summer. If you’ve been away this summer–or if you’re searching for a church home–it’s a great day to join us.
Our Sunday service is at 10am. Most folks dress comfortably, anywhere from “nice casual” to “Sunday best”. Our Sunday service lasts one hour. A nursery is open where the service is piped in. A nursery volunteer is available, but parents are welcome to stay with their young ones.
Our innovative Sunday School program gets underway that day, beginning our creative experience of Bible stories through music, storytelling, computer lab exercises, cooking, science lessons, and more. More information about Sunday School is found by clicking here. Sunday School is held during the 10am worship hour, and children begin in the Sanctuary with the adults, then dismiss to classrooms after A Time for Children.
The adult choir returns to regular schedule, adding their special musical talents to our worship. The choir is open to newcomers who like to sing. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at 6:45pm.
