OCC at Heritage Days
August 16, 2010
August 19-22 is our local Heritage Days festival in Olmsted Falls, and OCC will be there. You’ll find us with a float in the community parade on Thursday (6:30 p.m.), sharing information and funnel cakes, hot dogs and hamburgers at Grand Pacific Junction, and offering a Kid’s Carnival on Friday (noon to 4 p.m.).
If you want to help, we need candy to give away during the parade. Riders are welcome on the church float. We urgently need extra help in the food trailer & information table throughout the weekend.
To volunteer, contact Kimberlee in the church office at 235-3326.

OCC to host Community Thanksgiving Service
November 3, 2008
On Wednesday, November 26 at 7:30 p.m., Olmsted Community Church will host the ecumenical Thanksgiving Eve service for the Olmsted area. All are invited. Reverend Wally Hyclak, pastor of St. Mary of the Falls Catholic Church will be preaching, with other members of the local clergy taking part. There will be a time of fellowship with refreshments in the narthex following the service.
OCC’s Choir Director Sandy Ferington and Organist Diane Cieslak will be coordinating music for the service, which will include a community choir.
