Baptisms
At Olmsted Community Church, along with the general practice of the United Church of Christ, people may receive the Sacrament of Holy Baptism at any age.
Baptism with water and the Holy Spirit is the mark of acceptance into the care of Christ’s Church, the sign and seal of participation in God’s forgiveness, and the beginning of new growth into full Christian faith and life.
Baptisms are usually held within the context of a regular worship service. Children to be baptized need at least one parent or guardian to be a member of the congregation, since baptismal vows promise full participation in the life of the church.
Please contact our pastor for scheduling a Baptismal service or for membership information.
