Youth
YOUTH ACTIVITIES AT OCC are normally held the 1st & 3rd Sundays. New youth are always welcome.
- TEEN CROSSING for 9th-12th Graders - The senior high youth share fellowship, ritual, and service. Activities include frequent lock-ins, mission projects including trips and study. One meeting a month is at the church, the other is an activity of fellowship or service. Leaders: Judy Collins (440) 235-1275 & Joe Duffy (440) 668-1398.
- Senior High Bible Study for 9th-12th Graders - Meets on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. in the Youth Room (upper level) to discuss contemporary topics chosen by youth.
- Confirmation Class - A two-year cycle for 7th and 8th graders, the Confirmation Class begins with a year of Bible studies in 7th grade, then progresses to a Pastor’s Class. The Pastor’s Class is open to any youth 8th-12th grades. Service and mission projects are included with a study of the basics of Christian faith. Confirmands may choose to join the church on Pentecost Sunday.
- S.P.I.R.I.T. for 6th – 8th Graders - An ecumenical group of fellowship, worship, and community service. This group has dances, lock-ins, outings, fund-raisers, and a meaningful week-end retreat in the spring. - CLUB 345 for 3rd – 5th Graders - This group is very mission and outreach minded but also have many enjoyable activities in their “clubhouse.” Leaders: DeAnn Dunlap (440) 777-6599, and Gary & Laura Konschak (440) 234-9564.
